Play Guide at CMoR - Chesterfield (PT position)

    Our Chesterfield location is searching for Play Guides for day time shifts Tuesday through Friday. These part-time positions are responsible for providing a safe and enjoyable experience for guests in the museum. The ideal candidate should be outgoing and enthusiastic and enjoy working with children and families. Major responsibilities include sanitization of exhibits and the building, engaging and responding to guests and maintaining safety protocols. Masks and gloves are provided.

    Skills and Abilities:

    Ideal candidates will have experience working in customer service, retail, or childcare/educational environment. Understanding of facilitated educational experiences in an informal setting is helpful.

    Candidates should be energetic, enthusiastic, and hyper customer service focused. Play Guides must have excellent collaboration and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi task or shift work direction quickly according to Museum needs.

    Candidates should be able to pass a background check. Candidates should have the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. These positions require walking, standing, and lifting for the majority of the shift. Weekend, evening and holiday work may be requested.
