Bary W. Hausrath is a graduate of George Mason University and the University of Richmond School of Law. Bary provides estate planning services such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, medical directives, and adoption. He also helps with name and gender marker changes.

Community service and volunteer work are part and parcel of Bary's public life. Bary is known to Chamber members for his work as a past president (2014-2018) and as a founder of the Virginia LGBTQ+ Bar Association (formerly the Virginia Equality Bar Association) and its award-winning Name and Gender Marker Change Clinics (running from 2014-present).

Bary lives in the City of Richmond with his husband, Cameron. They enjoy traveling, sci-fi, and taking in the many joys of Richmond with friends.
